How much can you change a U-BOAT Classico? The closer to home it stays, the truer it remains. Black and cream dials have always been a Classico staple but when something is revered for its simplicity, adding a chronograph isn't always easy.

The Classico upgrade is a stunning work of art, walking the fine line between elegant and dynamic. Sport-de-Luxe is the only way to describe it.

So many people start with a 45mm because it's hard to know whether or not a 53mm is too big. After a day wearing a 53mm, go back and try the 45mm on and you'll immediately see that the 45 isn't as big as you first thought.

With so many U-BOAT watches, it will always come down to a question of habit and comfort and you can't get any better without trying anything different now, can you.

Look out for

- X-Axis seconds dial

- Steel plate on the strap

- White stitching on a tan calf-leather strap
