Waterproof to 1001 metres

The U-1001 is a lot of watch on paper and a lot more watch on your wrist. At just 47mm it's so easy to wear and feels great with its solid 316L Steel medical-grade case.



This is one of the few watches that doesn't have a glass exhibition window at the back of the case. We normally try to put the mechanical movement on display but when a watch is then water-proof to 200m it has to be replaced with a small window focused on the balance-wheel. When the timepiece is waterproof to 1001m, we have to take the glass away altogether.

- Steel plates on the strap

- Ruby from the movement visible at 6 o'clock

- Angled 4 and 8 numerals

- Helium-escape valve at 8 o'clock

- Markers at 12, 1, 2 and 3 o'clock replaced by U-1001

- Plaque on the side with the watch number

- Angled date ring at 4 o'clock
